What's Happening at First Church?
September-October Events
October 4, 6 p.m. -- Movie Night -- Thurgood Marshall, is a crusading NAACP lawyer who later becomes the first African-American Supreme Court Justice. In the film, Marshall battles through one of his career-defining cases: A Black chauffeur in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who is accused of raping a wealthy white society woman.
